After a turbulent few years, it's no surprise that mental health has taken a significant hit. Regulating mental health while at work is an important part of wellness and for leaders provides an opportunity to take charge of workforce wellbeing.
Taking micro breaks is a small, but powerful, way to improve overall personal and employee wellness. According to research, micro-breaks have been shown to improve focus, remove negative feelings, and boost energy. In fact, ongoing breaks are a critical element of sustained productivity and career longevity.
Ideally, we should take a 10 minute break for every hour of work. This may be divided up into one 10-minute break every 60 minutes or one 5-minute break every 30 minutes.
The system breaks up repetitive tasks throughout the workday and provide a chance to relax and engage in easy movement, like stretching or walking, 10 minutes of whole body vibration, 10 minutes of red-light therapy, 10 minutes of Vagus Nerve toning taking ownership and control of your self care to briefly unwind stress and preventing burn out.
We've all experienced the renewed perspective we gain from stepping back, taking a breath, and starting again. Lowered stress and higher performance can lead to boosted resilience and mental wellbeing, increased employee satisfaction and greater productivity while at work.
Our Micro-Resilience program is a systemic recharge program employing science backed methods and biohacking products creating sustainable change by taking a systems approach to your micro interventions.
Drawing on the principals such as the Pomodoro Model, 52/17 Productivity Principle and Flowtime Technique we empower the breaks, bringing fun and ease to building bespoke resilience habits. This program includes;
1 on 1 mentoring via zoom video conferencing.
To begin our first month we will work together with 1 hour sessions weekly, (for the first 4 weeks) and then our meeting cycle will be bi-weekly for the following 2 months.
